Altran Italia was born in 1996. Provides advanced engineering and innovation consultancy, and meets the needs of customers with turnkey projects.
It employs over 2,100 employees and is present in much of the country, with offices in Genoa, Turin, Milan, Trieste, Bologna, Pisa, Florence, Rome, Naples, Brindisi, Palermo.
In 2011 it recorded a turnover of over 160 million euro.
With its consulting services, Altran Italia is present in several industrial sectors, arranged in 5 “Industries”: Automotive, Infrastructures & Transportation (AIT), Aerospace, Defense & Railway (ASD-R), Energy, Industries & Life Sciences (EILiS), Financial Services (FIS), Telecoms & Media (TEM).
Solution Center joins vertical Industries in the management and control of complex bids and projects, in the definition of value proposition of excellence and in the development of new high added value solutions by using resources within the Altran Group and of academic and technology partners network.
To broaden their skills in energy efficiency, Altran Italia acquired Igeam DD, aimed at sustainable development, green technologies, renewable energy and R & D and supporting innovation technology.
Altran Italia is certified UNI ISO 9001 (quality management systems), UNI EN ISO9100:2009 (standard for design, development and production of systems and services in aviation, space and defence sector), UNI EN ISO 13485:2004 (valid for the field application of the design services of medical products by using risk management techniques in conformity with the requirements contained in ISO 14971 standards) and UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 ( it specifies the requirements for such an environmental management system). Altran Italia is registered on AVCP – Authority for the supervision of public contracts for works, services and supplies – as engineering company.
